the Villa Straylight
candle-lit room

The soft music that pervades the rest of this place is even quieter in here. You get the feeling that, as eerie as it is, complete silence would be much worse. The dim ambient light is supplemented by ivory white candles in silver candelabra on the three low tables. The tables are apparently made from the same obsidian as the walls, but the floor here is covered with a thick, soft, black carpet.

Scattered around the room are eight amorphous cushions that look very much like large, black, velvet bean-bag chairs.

On the table closest to the door are five small notebooks. The table on your left has one small book on it. The third table, in a corner on your right, appears to be empty.

Go to first table

Go to second table

Go to third table

Go back out into the hallway
