You've never let me down in life
I've always known your worth
Your presence when I needed you
Was felt upon my birth.

When I was sad, and all alone
I felt you wipe my face
When I was glad, a light was shone
You showered me with grace.

I've needed you quite often
This fact is plain to see
You really took a task to heart
In choosing to help me.

By leading me to things I need
You've really helped me grow
I've felt the change down deep inside
And it's begun to show.

I accept my feelings readily
You've always been there, I agree
But since you've made your presence known
I've become a whole new me.....
