Silence's Dark Magic

original "cooperative poem"

Silence spinning, madly, sadly, churning in the night.
Darkness, evil, he has no fright
Until a speck of light comes pouring from the sun
And he shields his eyes, afraid to lose sight
Of the silence that protects
The darkness in each sacred mind
The power evil wields is far beyond
The gates of death, far behind
The gates of light too far ahead
The morning is here, he must rise from his bed

revised by David Noelle

Silence spinning madly, sadly, churning in the night
He is one with Darkness, evil, thus he knows not fear
When dawn nears, a speck of light comes pouring from the sun
He shields his eyes, afraid to lose sight of the silence
That protects the darkness flowing in each sacred mind
The power evil wields can grow far beyond the light
The silent one knows the gates of death are far behind
He can sense the gates of light are too far ahead
Into the silent chaos, he releases his magic
