As you sit down on the cushion, it moves under you and reshapes to support your body, very much the way a bean-bag chair would. This cushion doesn't make any sound when it moves, though, and it moves more smoothly than a bean-bag. It's an unusual but not unpleasant sensation. You suspect it's filled with some form of very thick gel, rather like a cross between a bean-bag chair and a waterbed full of Jell-O. The cushion, like the table, is slightly warm, but unlike the table, it is very comfortable.
You're not sure whether these cushions are really covered with velvet or just some remarkable facsimile, but they sure do feel like velvet. The dim light, quiet music, and soft liquid cushion make this an ideal place to take a nap. Or perhaps to read a story:
The title of the book on this table is Prose.
